Early introduction of mother early childhood programs, a lot of people, especially early childhood educators and even parents who do not understand the terms and understanding Mother of ECD. Till now after a few years of running the mother of early childhood programs in Indonesia based on the author's observation still many people who do not understand the concept of mother's early childhood.

Terms and understanding of the role of the Mother of ECD is a symbol as well as a major partner in the National Movement ECD. As a mother figure, a central figure in every level of government across the country, ranging from the lowest levels of government village / urban village to the National, the presence of the Mother of ECD can motivate the public and stakeholders.
Mother ECD of each level of government are as follows:
1. Mother of national early childhood
Mother of The National ECD in this case is the First Lady, and the figure serves as a central figure of early childhood Indonesian National Movement to contribute ideas, dissemination, and implementation of ECD perggerakan nationally.
2. Mother Provincial ECD
